A great Rhythm & Blues 45´ with Miss LaVell(White) born July 3, 1929 in Amite City,Louisiana ,USA. After relocated to Houston , Texas, at the age of 15,she begun working as vocalist with guitarist Clarence Hollimon in different blues clubs. Her break came when Johnny Copeland recommended her to Don Robey, the owner of the legendary Duke & Peacock record labels. She recorded 14 tracks between 1958-1964 for the Duke label,and this is one of them. She sings with a strong shouting voice on the self penned song and the band doing it´s best to keep up with her!
